How many people do you know that have had a problem loading blue bottomed discs on their PS2’s? Well search the web and the proof is evident. I have a conspiracy theory about why this is and what Sony did to hush the problem.
1)Sony comes out with PS2(fat box) with dvd-cd game format
2)Sony releases some blue disc cd-rom format requiring old system hard drive to either malfuction or burn out.
3)Sony then releases, only couple years later, a new slim line model, but dont be fooled, this is because slim line has stronger hardware to fix blue disc problem, not for looks.
4)Some gamers reported this early on and Sony updated system for free, but not anymore.
Just a theory? Maybe.But I smell a rat!
Dont try calling Sony if you have this problem, because they will deny that this was ever a problem and will blame it on the age of your system. Bullshit, right? You bet! I have a atari 2600 and nintendo ready to fire up any time.
Sony-great games, shitty hardware!
