My independent band is about to release an album and we would like to copyright the album. Everything I read about copywriting just confuses me. Something that confuses this further is that there are 2 songwriters on the CD, so I think we would need to copyright two sets of songs. We want it so that if one of the songwriters leaves the band, then they can take the songs with them and the rest of the band can’t play that persons songs anymore.
Can anyone help?
