First the bank told me the account did not exist, then they told me yes they found it and would be sending me a check, then they told me no they were not sending a check because they did not have her sign after she listed my name as beneficiary and that I would have to go to court in Ohio (I live in NY) to have a judge declare the cd as mine. Now they are investigating it again because I refuse to accept this answer and now the account shows -0- What recourse do I have?
The executor of the estate is in contest, it seems my aunt signed a will 3 days before her death while medicated to the max and delusional. So estate is in probate court now.
