This month Brandy works with Toby at the Boom Boom Room on songs for her 5th album which will be released this year on Epic Records. Christina Milian (Myspace Records, here in a scene with Steve Taylor from Aerosmith) continues writing with Toby in Hollywood and sings a special song for the blog. The Veronicas announce their US release of the album “Hook Me Up” on september 16th as well as the Top10 entry of their first US single “Untouched”. Toby co-wrote and produced 9 songs on the album and 3 singles. The album is already triple platinum in Australia and all singles went top 10 and sold either gold or platinum overseas. Instant star “Alexz Johnson on Epic Records works with Toby on songs for her debut album. Toby meets with Atlantic Records artist Jessi Collins to plan future writing sessions. Toby’s long term collaborator Meleni Smith meets with Toby in LA. Toby wrote “Happy” with her, which got released on Will Smith’s Hitch movie and which Toby also produced with Natasha Bedingfield on her current hit album. Surprise guest FDM from the UK come by Toby’s studio and sing a song.
