Sony Announces a Sporty New Music Player

August 23rd, 2007 | by Administrator |

The player measures 3.8 by 0.6 by 0.6 inches and weighs just under 1 ounce, with a small OLED screen that can be oriented for righties or lefties. A built-in motion sensor recognizes variations in speed, enabling a Music Pacer feature that chooses playlists based on how fast you’re moving. Other workout features include a pedometer, a calorie counter, a workout timer, and a stopwatch. You can also record the step count, distance, and calories burned on your last seven workouts. The most interesting feature is called Shuffle Shake; you can put the player into shuffle mode (or back into normal mode) by shaking the player with three quick flicks of the wrist.
