Summer Braille Music Institute

July 21st, 2007 | by Administrator |

In addition to the student group, sighted music and vision teachers are invited to attend. Music education students are also welcome to serve as interns. They will receive exposure and experience helping in the classrooms and the dorm, and can expect some coaching from our staff and an introduction to braille music transcription software from Dancing Dots Braille Music Technology. These interns, plus volunteers and staff from both the National Resource Center and Overbrook school for the Blind, will help to assure support for all involved.

All student application materials must be received by May 19, 2007. Intern applications must be received by May 9, 2007. For admission requirements, costs and other information, visit www. blindmusicstudent.org/ summer_institute_2007_brochure.htm or contact David Goldstein at info@ blindmusicstudent.org or 203-366-3300, extension 229.
